Is it as polished as MailChimp's interface? Maybe not. But it does what I need it to do, and—here's the key—it's connected to everything else I'm doing in the same platform. No more wondering if the webhook fired correctly or if the API connection is working.

Course Hosting

This was a big one for me. I'd been using a separate course platform that cost almost as much as Go High Level by itself. Creating courses on Go High Level was easier than I expected, and the course player works fine. Students can log in, access their content, and receive updates and emails. The drag-and-drop builder is pretty intuitive. I've built several landing pages for different lead magnet ebooks, a simple website for my main offer for my beer tours, and various thank-you pages. They look professional enough, they load quickly, and most importantly, they're all in one place.

Can you build something more beautiful in WordPress with the right theme? Sure. But that's more complexity I don't need right now. I have a website in Webflow and I’m not going through all of that again!

Social Media Scheduling

I'm not running a massive social media operation, but I do need to post consistently across a few platforms and I need recurring posts. There are also some features I still don't use. The phone system, the reputation management tools, the advanced CRM features—they're there, but I haven't needed them. If you're a solopreneur like me, you might find the same thing.

I'm using the basic plan (the Starter Account), which runs $97/month. From a time and sanity perspective? Yes. Because you can make a website, have your landing pages, sales pages, courses, social media scheduling, email newsletters, shop, etc all in one place. There are higher-tier plans with more features like AI, but I genuinely haven't needed them and I have other software for other things like ManyChat so I'm good with this plan. The basic plan gives me everything I mentioned in this review.

Would I make the switch again? Absolutely. Is Go High Level the perfect platform that does everything for everyone? Maybe not.  But for what I need—email marketing, course hosting, landing pages, funnels, and social media scheduling—it does the job without the constant frustration I had with my previous setup.

I'm not spending my time troubleshooting integrations anymore. I'm not discovering critical limitations halfway through building a campaign. I'm not paying for five different subscriptions that barely talk to each other. I'm just building my business.

And honestly? That's all I wanted.
